Allison is an Associate Attorney handling a variety of corporate and individual immigration matters. Her work includes employment and family-based permanent residency cases as well as visa work in numerous nonimmigrant categories.
Allison graduated from the University of Minnesota Law School in 2019, where she served as the student director for the Environmental Law Moot Court and was awarded the Dean’s Elite Scholarship in International Law. While a student, Allison discovered her passion for immigration law and was able to gain early experience with a variety of case types. She participated in the Detainee Rights Clinic through which she was able to represent immigrants in removal proceedings. She also worked with several organizations serving refugees and immigrants seeking other humanitarian-based statuses, including the Advocates for Human Rights and the Southern Poverty Law Center’s Immigrant Justice program.
Before coming to Brown, Allison practiced law in Minneapolis where she handled a broad range of immigration matters including deportation defense, waivers, naturalization, U-visas, asylum, TPS, SIJS, adjustment of status, and consular processing. In 2021, Allison joined Brown Immigration Law excited to focus her long-held passion for immigration into measurable results for our clients. She tailors legal solutions for her clients across a wide array of industries, guiding them through the intricacies of corporate immigration.
Beyond the law, Allison is an avid reader but also loves to get outdoors for hiking and running. Someday she hopes to visit every national park in the United States. She is on the board of Lincoln Unites, which organizes a yearly event celebrating the importance of immigrants and refugees in the community.
