Priyal Taroon Samani is a Senior Associate Attorney at Brown Immigration Law, providing strategic and compassionate representation in U.S. immigration law. Licensed in California and India, she brings nearly two decades of experience across litigation, academia, and cross-border practice.
Priyal focuses on all areas of employment-based immigration, including a wide variety of nonimmigrant petitions as well as all aspects of the green card process. Drawing from her own immigrant journey, she guides individuals, families, startups, and multinational employers through complex visa pathways with clarity, empathy, and cultural sensitivity.
Prior to practicing in the U.S., Priyal was a Litigation Attorney in India, handling civil, criminal, human rights, child rights, intellectual property, and business law matters. She also served as a Law Professor, Of-Counsel on workplace sexual harassment compliance, and a Moot Court Judge for India’s Jessup International Moot Court teams. She has co-authored a human rights research report on the Criminalization of HIV for Synergia and the textbook Student Guide to Business Laws, published in Bangalore.
Priyal holds an LL.M. in International Legal Studies from Georgetown University Law Center, a Master of Business Laws from the National Law School of India University, Bangalore, and a B.A. LL.B. from Bangalore University. She is fluent in English, Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, Gujarati, and Kutchi.
Outside of her practice, Priyal enjoys volunteering, fostering puppies, traveling, and spending quality time with her husband and son.
