Stephen Hsu

Associate Attorney

Stephen Hsu is an Associate Attorney dedicated to serving clients with the highest level of professionalism and care. He provides full-service employment-based immigration solutions in the U.S. in addition to supporting Brown Immigration Law’s Canadian immigration services and assisting with global visa processing. With knowledge across all three practice areas (U.S., Canadian, and Global), Stephen is uniquely positioned to provide strategic, well-rounded support to corporate clients with international operations. He also offers a unique perspective based on his lived experience as an immigrant from Taiwan, leveraging both his knowledge and personal understanding to guide foreign nationals through complex immigration matters.

Stephen received his Juris Doctor from the University of Wisconsin Law School where he served as Co-President of the Asian Pacific Islander Desi American Law Students Association. He also gained clinical experience working for the Wisconsin Innocence Project and as a legal extern at the Office of the Minnesota Attorney General. Stephen continues to be active in the Asian American community and volunteers with Taiwan Innocence Project, offering his expertise to help communicate advanced legal concepts to clients in support of their dreams.

Outside of work, Stephen enjoys traveling around the world, wine tasting, and cooking. Stephen is also passionate about tailoring, vintage clothing, and suiting fabrics. He is fluent in English, Mandarin, and Taiwanese and thinks he is a better karaoke singer than he actually is.
