USCIS Conducts Second Random Selection For FY2022 H-1B Cap Registrations

On July 28, United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (“USCIS”) selected additional registrations from previously submitted electronic registrations using a random selection process for the FY2022 H-1B Cap. These additionally selected registrants will be eligible to file a corresponding H-1B cap-subject petition between August 2, 2021 and November 3, 2021. Due to a technical glitch, for a period of time, attorneys were not able to access their MyUSCIS account to check the status of registrations. USCIS has appeared to fix the issue.

Our firm will continue to provide updates as they are released. In the meantime, we have begun notifying additionally selected registrants. We will notify all clients who were selected by the end of the day next Tuesday, August 3, 2021. For those cases selected and approved by our clients to proceed, we will move as quickly as we can to file those cases. Like last year, premium processing is available, and we may recommend the service depending on if a case needs urgent processing.

Best Regards,

The Team at Brown Immigration Law
