On Tuesday, September 23rd at 1pm CST, we hosted an emergency webinar to discuss the impact of the Trump Administration’s recent Executive Order requiring individuals holding H-1B status to pay a $100,000 penalty for entering the U.S., seeking an H-1B visa, or receiving H-1B approval (if the case was pending while the individual was outside the U.S.). Managing Partner David Zaritzky Brown explained the plain language meaning of the EO and discussed its impact. He also walked listeners through how to plan around this EO and what was expected to happen with it in the near future. We invited all HR professionals and employees potentially impacted by this EO to tune in for these important updates.
