In part two of the Green Card Game Plan series, David Zaritzky Brown, Founder and Managing Partner of Brown Immigration Law, took a deeper look at the employment-based green card options introduced in the first session and provided direct examples of how they operate. He also presented specific case studies and explained his term “leap-frogging” for individuals who were subject to significant immigrant visa backlogs.
Key green card options discussed included PERM-based EB-2/3 filings, Extraordinary Ability, Outstanding Researcher, and Multinational Manager filings. He also went over the EB-2 NIW category. Given the current immigrant visa backlogs, the firm found that many of the people they worked with experienced multiple filings – David’s suggestions helped streamline the approach and save money. After the presentation, David hosted a Q/A to answer any questions the audience had.
