According to public reports, the Trump Administration is preparing to implement broad new travel and visa restrictions that could severely restrict entry for citizens of up to 43 countries. These changes are expected by the 21st of March based on Trump’s earlier executive order charging the State Department to release a plan by this date. In this webinar, Managing Partner David Zaritzky Brown broke down the travel and visa restrictions, focusing on who is impacted, what exemptions might be available, and the criteria driving these decisions.
He explored the Red, Orange, and Yellow Lists of affected countries, the potential restrictions on travel and visas, and examined the national security concerns that are guiding these policies. Additionally, David talked about other recent updates that may impact visa issuance and also commented on if any other changes are likely to happen in response to this new policy.
